'... The Principal Incidents in the Holy Scriptures from the Creation to the Ascension of our Blessed Lord. Vol. 1 F. W. L. Ross. 1855', a paraphrase of each book of the Bible in rhyming verse, preceded by an invocation. The text beg. 'The Creation. Hush'd are the loud Hosannas ! not a sound | Is heard to break the awful calm profound.'

This first volume extends to the end of Ezekiel, and contains 15772 lines.
