The Album Amicorum of Johann Freherr, who lived at Nuremberg, and entered the university of Altdorf in 1638. His friends are chiefly from those two towns and Bâle, and contribute signatures and complimentary inscriptions. A complete index of their names is in the Library: among them are:

  1. Sir Oliver Flemming (Bâle, Sept. 24, 1640: fol. 54)
  2. Philippus Camerarius, Freherr's grandfather (1623: inserted: fol. 113)
  3. (Ludwig) Joachim Camerarius (Jan. 21, '1638', with arms: fol. 114)
  4. Johannes Buxtorf (Bâle, Sept. 24, 1640: fol. 116)
