One hundred and eighty-six fine coloured drawings made from Brit. Mus. MS. Cotton Vitellius C. 3 (Herbarium Apuleii Barbari, of the 11th century), consisting chiefly of plants, often with their names in old English.
The Bodleian MS. Hatton 76, which is similiar in text to the British Museum codex, has spaces left for drawings, which were never filled in.
