Biographical / Historical
William Dacre, 1500-1563, 4th Lord Dacre of the North, was an English peer, a Cumberland landowner, and the holder of important offices under the Crown, including many years' service as Warden of the West Marches. Christopher Johnson and Thomas Richardson, were the clerk of the kitchen and steward to William.
