Abstract
Archive of the IP Federation from its foundation in 1920.
Biographical / Historical
The IP Federation is a trade association representing the views of UK industry on intellectual property policy and practice in the United Kingdom and internationally. It was incorporated on 23 April 1920 as the Trade Marks Patents and Designs Federation. The name was formally changed to IP Federation on 5 July 2014.
The IP Federation's members consist of UK companies and subsidiaries of some non-UK companies. The Federation's Council decides on policy and separate committees deal with patents, trade marks and copyright. The Federation produces policy papers and publishes an annual review of intellectual property, Trends and Events.
