Immediate Source of Acquisition
'Bibliothecæ Oxoniensi donavit S[amuel] Clarke.' The date of the gift is not known, but may be between 1663, when he presented some printed Arabic books, and 1669, the year of his death. His other MSS. were purchased in 1670.

On paper, binding, brown leather with gilt ornament, and 'Franciscus Savage' on each volume, no doubt Douai binding of A.D. 1624
