Biographical / Historical
John Lowell Osgood (1901-1924) was a composer and son of the American tenor, conductor and composer George Laurie Osgood (1844-1922). The John Lowell Osgood Memorial Prize, established by Junia (June) Howe Osgood (1870-1959), is offered by the Music Faculty at the University of Oxford.
