Motet for 6 voices (2 Cant., Alto, 2 Tenor, Bass) and 10 instruments (2 cornettini, 3 tromboni, 2 violins, 2 violas, fagotto, continuo). Words from Psalm cviii. Copyist's full score with minor authoritative corrections. The hand is similar to that of MS. Mus. Sch. c. 31, items 2 and 3.

Custodial History

This item is part of the Music School collection of printed and manuscript music, which was originally bequeathed to the University of Oxford by William Heather (c 1563-1627), and gradually added to until the end of the 18th century. Possibly previously in the possession of James Sherard (1666-1738).

Immediate Source of Acquisition

The collection was transferred to the Bodleian in 1885.
