Purchased by the University in 1670 for £126 3s. 4d.: Dr. Macray in his Annals of the Bodleian, 2nd ed. (1890), at p. 133 mentions a statement (for which see MS. Tanner 89, fol. 6) that the earl of Clarendon purchased and presented these two volumes.
