'Belgrave', hymn tune by William Horsley. Condensed score in ink. 'Autograph of Wm. Horsley' in another hand. Another slightly varied harmonisation of the same tune appears on verso of the manuscript, crossed through in ink.
The tune was first printed in Benjamin Jacobs, National psalmody ... for the services of the United Church of England and Ireland (Lambeth: B. Jacob, [1817]) and in William Horsley, A collection of hymns & psalm tunes, sung in the chapel of the Asylum for Female Orphans (London: Clementi & Co., (1820)); (see N. Temperley, The hymn tune index. Oxford, 1998).
