'Essex Library notes', by the Rev. Andrew Clark, i.e. 'Notes of various pamphlets and small books, especially of those of historical interest, arranged in order of time. This is a fine and laborious bibliography, with notes, of about 3,000 books and pamphlets, in one chronological list from about 1540 to 1649 (vol. 1) and from 1650 to 1704, with a few later to 1781, and two indexes of authors, etc. (vol. 2).
