Two collections of petitions from the Lieutenant General and Lords Justices of Ireland
Two collections of petitions from the Lieutenant General and Lords Justices of Ireland to the king in Chancery that he should allow certain bills passed by the Irish Parliament to be issued under the Great Seal. The certificates and petitions are here collected, the annexed bills themselves as well as the seals having been removed.
The petitions are seventy-two in number, sixty-two (1697-1776) being in the first volume and ten (1721-74) in the second. Each bears the signatures of the Lieutenant General and the Lords Justices.
