Biographical / Historical
Lady Maria Evans (1856-1944) was and English author, and also the wife of Sir John Evans and mother of Joan Evans. Sir John Evans (1823-1908) was an English archaeologist and numismatist, Dame Joan Evans (1893-1977) was an English scholar and author.
