Two subject indexes ('Synopsis subjectorum' or 'Index Materiarum' of printed books in the Bodleian, written in about A.D. 1620-1630 at Oxford. In both the titles and press-marks are given, and in MS. Add. A. 69 often the date also is stated and some MSS. are included. These volumes may be part of a general scheme of subject indexes for the Bodleian, such as was Verneuil's for Theology, published in 1635.

These books may have come in with Dr. Hody's MSS. in 1707, but there is no direct evidence that they did. They were in the Library by 1747.
