Rules of a music club, written on vellum, entitled 'Orders to be observ'd at the musick-meeting ... at Mr. [Anthony] Hall's tavern' (the Mermaid), with a list of members.

Within a painted oval frame is a border of musicians, instruments and putti in ink and water-colour by Michael Burghers, c.1690.
