One hundred and forty short pieces for a lute or similar instrument, in tablature: largely by Jean (Mouton, or) de Hollingue, and two at least of the family of Gautier (Denis le Vieux G., de Lyon; Eunémond le Jeune G., de Vienne), with some by the two Du Buts, -- Gallol, -- Du Faux, etc. The division into volumes is according to the keys of the pieces. Some 18th cent. engravings of scenery are in the bindings, and at p. 66 of no. 26618.
