Eighty-three short pieces for a stringed instrument, chiefly the lute, nearly all in tablature. At p. 13 are the words only of a French song (beg. 'O couple bienheureus a qui le Ciel enveyé'). Many leaves are blank.

The names of 'Hannah Pearson' and 'Elizabeth Vanhu' (early 18th cent.) occur on pp. iii, 27.
