Short pieces of instrumental music, some imperfect, including five by Henry Purcell
Short pieces of instrumental music, some imperfect, including five by (Henry) Purcell (pp. 32, 56, 58, 62, 70). There are also nine songs with words and music, six in English, two in French, and one in Italian, but the volume has several imperfections, leaves torn out, etc.
'C. Collett' and 'Elizabeth Southwell' were perhaps owners: there is also a note of 1747 about 'Miss Millan'.
