Biographical / Historical
'Michael Field' was the joint pseudonym of Katharine Harris Bradley (1846-1914) and her niece Edith Emma Cooper (1862-1913). Details under the name of 'Michael Field' are given in Who Was Who.

Bradley and Cooper instructed their literary executor, Thomas Sturge Moore, to offer their papers to the British Museum and the Bodleian Library. Eng. misc. b. 191, c. 655-657, d. 977-986; Eng. lett. c. 433-434, d. 408) and Ursula Bridge relating to 'Michael Field' were given to the Library in 1974 by Rietter Sturge Moore and Quintin Bridge.
