Percy Sherwood (1866-1939) was an Anglo-German composer and pianist. See Grove Music Online for further details.
Custodial History
Formerly in the possession of Charles Harper (1905-1989) and, prior to that, owned by Edith Hempseed who had been given them by Percy Sherwood, her piano teacher in Dresden. Most of the manuscripts are inscribed to (or signed by) Miss Hempseed.
