Custodial History

The manuscripts are dated at various periods from Aug. 24, 1759, to Feb. 21, 1765, and bear the armorial book-plate of 'Jean Elie Jaquéri, de Moudon en Suisse. Né en 1732', engraved by M. Skinner of Exeter in 1755.

Immediate Source of Acquisition

The manuscripts were presented in 1790 by the rev. John Davy, Master of Balliol college, Oxford.
