Collection of music by Sir Hugh Percy Allen. Autograph manuscript in ink and pencil, comprising:

a (fols. 1-4) 'Persicos odi'. Song for baritone and piano. Words from Horace, Odes, book 1 no. 38. Ink fair copy.

b (fols. 5-7) 'Montium custos'. Song for baritone and piano. Words from Horace, Odes, book 3 no. 22. Ink fair copy, with pencil draft (fol. 7).

c (fol. 8) 'Believe me, of all those endearing young charms'. Irish melody, arr. as a partsong for SATB. Words by Thomas Moore. Pencil draft, dated at end, 'Bothelbrough[?], July 4, [19]07'.

d (fols. 10-12) Psalm chants. In ink and pencil.

e (fols. 13-15) 'Harmonies for verse 4 of the hymn "O worship the king"'. Ink fair copy (fol. 13), with draft in pencil (fol. 15).

f (fol. 17) 'Liverpool'. Hymn tune by Robert Wainwright; harmonies from the European Psalmist, with 'accompaniment to 5th verse taken from Dr. Harwood's manuscript at Ch.Ch., Oxford'. In pencil.
