Biographical / Historical

Harold F. Rutland (1900-1977) was a pianist, music critic and composer, who worked for the BBC (1941-1956) and was editor of The Musical Times from 1957 to 1960 (brief obituary in The Musical Times v. 118, no. 1614 (Aug 1977), p. 663).
