'Essex. North Bemflet. Regestrum Ecclesie Parochialis de North Bemflett ... ab anno 1572', with a few earlier entries (copied) from 1566. The regular list of baptisms ends in 1637, of marriages in 1634, and of deaths in 1635, but there are some later entries, of 1654, 1723, and 1734.

Fols. 6-12r are occupied with some valuable information about the furniture, customs, and payments relating to the church, 1240-1597, as copied and digested by the rector Thomas Meredith in 1601, including also a 'circuit' of the bounds of the parish in 1583.
