A register of dr. Frodsham Hodson, when vice-chancellor of the university of Oxford, from the day of his election Oct. 6, 1818, to the following Nov. 7. This contain, not only a diary of his public life, but also:

  1. Memoranda of interest, such as a list of sermons of which the V.-C. appoints preachers (fol. 3v)
  2. A Latin list of trades of which members have been at some time matriculated, 1820 (fol. 4)
  3. A copy of a petition from Henry Cotton that Oxonia should be used, and not Oxonium, 1818 (fol. 154)
  4. A list of persons to whom the Oxford Almanacs were usually presented (fol. 158v)

(fols. 16-136, 140-8, etc., are blank paper)
