- P. 1. A copy of the records of an 'Iter Forestae' or inquiry held at Stratford-le-Bow (or Bow) on April 8, 1635, to determine the boundaries of the Forest of Essex. The counsels' speeches are given, and (at p. 91) the decision
- P. 103. 'A catalogue of MSS. given by the late Dr. Tanner, bp. of St. Asaph to the University of Oxford', 1-464: see nos. 9821-10446, bequeathed in 1735
The first part at least was annotated by Edward Umfreville in 1740, and at p. 213 is a letter to him (?) from dr. R. Rawlinson, Nov. 20, 1751, enclosing an addition to be inserted in the second part. The volume had been used to begin an index to Prynne's Records, shortly before the bulk of the book was written.
