'Chronicon Latinum', a chronicle of England from the earliest mythical times to 1066: beg. 'Cum hec insula omnium rerum sit ahundantissima': ends 'rerum mutatio aut in melius aut in peius. Sit ipse Deus iudex, cui honor et imperium in euum. Amen.'

The old cover, now part of the roll, is part of a marriage contract by which Thomas Bowden grants property in Benson co. Oxon. to Richard Waterer and Unica (Bowden?), about 1680-1700 (?), on parchment, in English.
