A Roman Choir Psalter, with canticles and antiphons: all the Matin psalms for the entire week come first, then those for Lauds, etc., with musical notes. There are thirteen fine miniatures within capitals, and one of them, on fol. 4v, extends over nearly the whole page, at the foot of which (between st. Catherine of Alexandria and another female saint) is a bishop (Ubaldus?) in the act of blessing six Dominican monks (but the Psalter is not Dominican).
At fol. 82v is a miniature of 'S. VBALDVS', who was bishop of Gubbio in Umbria. The MS. is therefore probably connected with Gubbio or its neighbourhood. Besides the miniatures there are more than 250 well-executed large illuminated capitals. Foll. 120-2 are later additions. The next volume is a companion one to this.
