An official copy of a decree whereby the Piazza di Seggia di Porto
An official copy of a decree whereby the Piazza di Seggia di Porto, a Neapolitan society, confers its membership on Giulio Savelli, prince of Venafro and Albano, with three others, on Feb. 22, 1664. The copy is dated June 20, 1664, and bears the seal of the society and various attestations.
The copy is made in circular form, and outside the circle are various illuminations and ornaments, especially a large double-headed eagle which holds the decree in its claws, also heraldic arms, flowers, armour, musical instruments, etc.
