Miscellaneous papers of archbp. Ussher, etc.:

  1. Fol. 1. 'De Petri primatu', in Ussher's hand
  2. Fol. 15. 'Epistola S: Columbani Abbatis ... super Questione Paschæ', a transcript corrected in Ussher's hand
  3. Fol. 23. Additions and corrections for proofs of Spelman's Concilia (1639) chiefly in Ussher's hand, with an English letter from the latter (with seal) of Nov. 6, 1638, which perhaps accompanied the notes. They were probably too late to be used, for sir H. Spelman endorses the letter 'I receyved this from my Lo. of Armagh 20 Decemb. 1638, 4.'
  4. Fol. 52, cf. 71, 87-94a. 'Jacobi Usserii Armachani De varijs Asiæ acceptionibus, Disquisitio Geographica et Historica ...', on the uses of the term Asia, a transcript with corrections in Ussher's hand: incomplete
  5. Fol. 68. 'De Mariano Scoto testimonia', followed by an account of Dionysius Areopagita (fol. 73), st. Ignatius of Antioch (fol. 82), and Clemens Romanus (fol. 86): all transcripts of 1646, corrected by Ussher, and given by 'Dr Stradling' to archbp. Sancroft (fol. 73), who made some additions
  6. Fol. 94b. A letter from Ralphe Skynner to Ussher, 1625, copied by archbp. Sancroft
  7. Fol. 95. 'Dr Usher's Refutation of mr. John Harrison his Opinion That the World should end A.D.1630. Written a. 1615', copied by Sancroft: followed by a similar copy of a note of Ussher 'De Epistola ad Laodicenses' (fol. 98)
