- Extracts from records relating to the foundation of Institutions etc. of the University of Oxford (pp. 1, 21, 166 rev.)
- Including extracts from the Chartulary of Eynsham (p. 3)
- There are some notes from or about Bodleian collections and books (p. 55)
- In the volume are also inserted some papers by dr. Bandinel, containing similar notes, 1821-2, and dates of the composition of some of the handlists of the printed books (pp. 59, 72)
- Pp. 75-149 are blank
- At p. 45 is a list of ten old deeds
- At p. 53 a Latin poem 'Upon a Bp. of Orkny', signed 'Adam Elder', beg. 'Quid tentem angusto.'
