Accounts of religious ceremonies of heathen nations, apparently based on the French work by Picart. At fol. 27 is an (added) copy of a letter from the rev. T. W. to the rev. R. G., Aug. 22, 1737, on Chinese religious ceremonies. The latter initials may indicate the collector of these notes.

Immediate Source of Acquisition

'Jno Price' on fol. 3 may be an early signature of the Bodleian Librarian who died in 1813, and if so the book may have come to the Library in that year. It was bound about 1880.
