Some miscellaneous notes written by or connected with dr. Swithin Adee, of C.C.C., Oxford, from his matriculation paper of Nov. 4, 1717 (fol. 9v, to about 1790, with a few later papers.
The bulk is arranged in alphabetical order of subjects, among which are:
- (fol. 44) memoranda of Cambridge, Oct. 1749;
- (fol. 172v) a few Oxford notes, 1744-1782;
- (fol. 175) Peshall family notes.
These notes were bound up in about 1822 by sir D.W. Smith of Alnwick, whose armorial bookplate is in the book.
