This MS. is the basis of canon Robert C. Jenkins's Story of the Caraffa (Lond., 1886).

A note by count Francesco Cristofori about another MS. of this work and suggesting that card. Sfortia Pallavicino (d. 1667) was perhaps the author, is at p. ii. Canon Jenkins has added some notes about the book and about the genealogy of the Caraffas: see also his two letters of March, 1889, at p. 165.
