Applications for dispensations from the ordinary requirements for a degree at the university of Oxford, made by George Cooper, registrar of the University, to sir Henry Watkins, secretary to the chancellor of the same, Dec. 30, 1721-Feb. 28, 1723/4: one (of Sept. 20, 1723, at fol. 141) is in the Vice-chancellor (dr. Robert Shippen's) hand. At fol. 55 is a draft letter of sir H. Watkins, June 5, 1722, cf. fol. 56.
There are about 200 applications in all.
