A copy of the Book of Common Prayer (Oxford, for M. Pitt, n. d. [but no doubt printed in about 1683-86], folio), including the Articles and Canons, with copious notes, chiefly in Latin, by dr. Edward Bernard. At the end are some manuscript pieces of the 17th century:
- 'Summarium Horarii...', a scheme of Latin services for a week for the use of members of the Church of England, analogous to and partly based on the Horae of the Roman Catholic Church: in the handwriting of dr. Samuel Woodford
- A letter from S. Woodford (to dr. Bernard) about the services used by bp. Ken in his private chapel at Wells, with a transcript of the (English) offices of Terce and Vespers, there used, Apr. 15, 1688, all in English
- 'Kalendarium perpetuum, sive Ephemeris syllabica, continens festa Ecclesiae Romanae,' a series of twelve Latin distichs, with notes, an early work of Adolphus Me[t]kerchus, who sent them with a preface to Franciscus Nansius, Jan. 1, 1572: the foregoing is here copied by S. Woodford, who sent them with a Latin preface and a similar 'Kalcndarium Ecclesiasticum' for the Church of England, to dr. Bernard on Feb. 2, 1657/8
- Notes on the Lord's Prayer, by S. Woodford, in Latin
- Miscellaneous notes by dr. Bernard, chiefly with a view to a revision of the Prayer Book, Articles and Canons, in Latin
