  1. Fol. 4. 'A Dissertation on the Passage of Hannibal over the Alps', with three maps and some miscellaneous papers on the subject
  2. Fol. 50. 'The History of Bithynia translated from the French of the Abbé Sevin ... and continued ... by the Translator [i.e. R. Gough]. Corp. Xti Coll. Camb. 1756/7.' The continuation is not here
  3. Fols. 79, 92. A transcript of the printed editions of (1) 'A Fragment. The second Edition, London ...' 1751, a Cambridge satire by dr. Henry Stebbing: and (2) 'A letter to Lord Eg ... nt on the dangerous Ambition ... of a certain M--is--r ... London ...' (circa 1750), also partly relating to Cambridge
  4. Fol. 97. 'The Capitade', a poem on Cambridge Heads of Houses in 1753: beg. 'Whether on sad Avernus' Banks thou dwell'. There is no indication that Gough composed this
