Trinity college (Oxford) papers, in chronological order, chiefly certificates from other colleges of the character of candidates for a Scholarship or Fellowship at Trinity. Among the candidates are:
- Charles Neate (cf. fol. 12), 1825
- T. G. Jackson, 1852
- Dr. Edward Moore, 1858
Some bear seals of their colleges. There are also many personal letters from well-known Oxford men to the rev. John Wilson (president of Trinity, who formed this collection of papers) 1838-65, including two from the rev. H. O. Coxe, 1843-46, partly about Trinity college MSS., and a few from bp. Wilberforce, 1846-60.
