Latin orations, theses, letters, and exercises in verse
Latin orations, theses, letters, and exercises in verse, some of them in Greek, and a few in English; collected by H. H., a member of Queen's college, Oxford, and dated between 1665 and 1682.
Most of the pieces are Oxford disputations and exercises, academical or collegiate: at p. 164 rev. are poems on the new Sheldonian, 1674; and at p. 160 rev. a copy of Allibond's Rustica Academiæ Oxoniensis nuper reformatæ descriptio, 1648. The names of some Queen's men occur, and two acrostics (pp. 168, 175 rev.): and there are lists of the pieces.
