'William Lloyd 1631': 'Hu: Lloyd' (late 17th cent.). Bought from Thorpe's Supplement to his Catalogue of MSS., 1836 (no. 654, priced 2s.), by sir Thomas Phillipps, and part of no. 9971 among his MSS.

Immediate Source of Acquisition

In the Phillipps sale Apr.-May, 1903, lot 1176, bought by the Bodleian.
