A copy of 'A Direction for the English Traviller' (Lond. 1636), with many manuscript additions forming a list of the chief mansions, estates or towns in England and Wales, with the families owning them, and brief notes on the places or families, arranged by counties, with indexes: written in about 1670-80. The writer is stated on the modern binding to be 'Torre' i.e. James Torre (d. 1699).
