Biographical / Historical
Vero Copner Wynne-Edwards (1906-1997), zoologist. Educated at New College, Oxford, graduating in zoology in 1927. Assistant Professor at McGill University, Montreal, Canada, 1930-1946. Regius Chair of Natural History, University of Aberdeen, 1946-1974. Editor of The Scottish Naturalist , 1948-1956, and Assistant Editor until 1964. Author of Animal Dispersion in Relation to Social Behaviour (1962).
