Two Latin poems 'in Proditores' on the Gunpowder Plot, one in elegiacs (beg. 'Melpomene sapiens'), the other in sapphics (beg. 'Musa tu prudens'): each stanza is followed by an English verse paraphrase: the whole is of poor quality. At the beginning and end is the date Nov. 5, 1639, and at end also 'Johannes.'
