'An abstract of the title of John Wharton Esq. to his paternal estates in Yorkshire & amongst others to his estate of Brotton in the parish of Skelton in Cleveland', the deeds ranging from 1729 to 1793.
The watermark of the paper is 1806: there is a pencilled note on fol. 58 dated 1829. On fol. 63v is a short pedigree of the Hall family, to illustrate the descent of the property.
