'Nov. 1836. Re Abingdon School. Memorial of the Master and two senior Governours of the Hospital of Christ at Abingdon ...' and of the Master of the School, about an election to close scholarships at Pembroke college, Oxford, in August 1836, with certificates of the proficiency of the boys elected and of the first class at the school generally.
The memorial is addressed to the Vice-Chancellor of the University and two others and denies their power to sanction the rejection of two out of the three candidates.
