A collection of copies of miscellaneous historical papers, relating to English history to the 18th century. The chief articles are:
- Fol. 4. 'A Briefe State of Guernsey by the Right Honorable Christopher Lord Hatton, Present Governor of the said Island': beg. 'The Island of Guernsey was anciently part': composed by the 1st viscount Hatton in about 1675-80, a nearly contemporary copy.
- Fol. 13. 'The names of the Erles and nobylytye of England that haue enioyed theire ... dignytyes by discent from the Conqueror vnto this present daie ...' with notes of their marriages, in alphabetical order: written in about A.D. 1600, with a few additions: wanting all after Shrewsbury.
- Fol. 29. 'Processus factus contra Willelmum de Thorp', Sir W. de Thorp, chief justice of the King's Bench; copied from the Patent Rolls of 24 Ed. 3 (1350) late in the 16th cent.
- Fol. 54. A draft of an act directed against Popery, abt. 1705-10: other legal papers (judgements, pleas, etc.) occur at foll. 67, 74, 76, 87, etc.
- Fol. 116. Legal forms of deeds in English: written in the 16th century.
- Fol. 138. Privileges granted by Rich. i to the king of Scotland, while the latter was on English soil, Apr. 17, 1194, in Latin: early 17th cent.
- Fol. 140. The ceremony and feast at the enthronization of William Warham as archbp. of Canterbury, in March 1503/04. At end 'Finis exscriptum per me John Widoppe', 16th cent.
- Fol. 148. Cookery recipes, late 16th cent.
