An account of sir Thomas Bodley's negotiations in the Netherlands, 1594/5-96 (summer), by himself, a corrected copy of the original. Though Bodley's name does not occur, Quaritch is no doubt right in attaching it to this document. It is written in the first person, and bears a rather later title 'Negotiations with the States Generall 1594.'

The Rev. W. D. Macray has pointed out other copies, each stating Bodley's authorship, in MS. Bodley 11 and MS. Rawlinson D. 672, and (printed) at p. 928 of vol. 3 of Hearne's ed. of Camden's Elizabeth: the work had nevertheless escaped notice both in the Dictionary of National Biography and in the catalogues of printed books of the Bodleian and the British Museum.
