Copies of some official correspondence of James first duke of Ormonde, 1639-79, including a letter to the earl of Clarendon, Aug. 7, 1646 (p. 33), one to lord Fairfax (d. 1671), Aug. 16, 1647 (p. 36), and three to king Charles II, Feb. 21, 1648/9, Feb. 24, 1677/8, Sept. 26, 1678 (pp. 40, 49, 54): chiefly on Irish affairs.
