A list of Sheriffs of English and Welsh counties from the earliest times to 1752, continued to 1757
A list of Sheriffs of English and Welsh counties from the earliest times to 1752, continued to 1757: in two alphabetical orders of counties, not quite perfect, and with imperfect index of names at end.
The seat and arms of each sheriff are generally noted. The collection was probably made for Browne Willis, who has added some items and notes: and there are a few later papers.
