'Collections, manuscript and printed, concerning Robert Stephen Hawker...'
'Collections, manuscript and printed, concerning Robert Stephen Hawker, Vicar of Morwenstow, Cornwall, made by Frederick George Lee, Vicar of All Saints', Lambeth, A.D. 1875.'
This is a very complete and noteworthy collection, with an index of original letters, in which are the names of cardinal Newman (one, 12 Mar. 1876), the rev. S. Baring Gould (one, 5 Nov. 1875), and the rev. W. Maskell (seven, 1876), as well as R. S. Hawker himself (twelve, 1865-74).
There are many privately printed pieces, extracts from newspapers, reviews of Lee's Memorials of Hawker (1876), and the like: at fol. 147 is a pedigree of the Hawker family.
